Approach & Areas of Focus
Areas of Treatment
I work with women experiencing anxiety—whether it’s a diagnosed disorder or milder symptoms that still affect everyday life. I have a special focus on OCD, including mild to moderate cases and the pure O subtype. I also support those healing from relational trauma and navigating challenging life transitions that bring on anxiety, depression, or just a need for extra care and understanding.
Women’s Wellness
My clinical practice is dedicated to women’s mental health, who face unique challenges influenced by hormonal changes, societal pressures, and relational dynamics. OCD, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions often present differently for women and can be shaped by experiences like pregnancy, motherhood, caregiving, cultural expectations, and personal relationships.
My approach combines evidence-based care with a deep understanding of these factors, providing compassionate, personalized support to help women heal and thrive.
Therapeutic Approach
I bring warmth, empathy, and a sense of humanity to the therapy room—creating space for meaningful work while also allowing room for humor and connection. I take each client’s struggles seriously while holding deep respect for their resilience and insight.
My approach is collaborative and curious. While I bring clinical expertise and evidence-based tools to our work, I see you as the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll explore your experiences with compassion and clarity, using both insight and action to create lasting change.
Theoretical Lens + Modalities Used
I primarily conceptualize clients through an attachment-based lens, exploring how early relationships and experiences may shape current patterns, emotions, and beliefs. I also consider the broader picture—acknowledging the influence of systems, life events, and genetic or biological factors on mental health.
While developing insight is an important part of the process, I also focus on helping clients build practical skills to move forward in meaningful, values-aligned ways.
Ultimately, my approach is collaborative and individualized, grounded in evidence-based care. I draw techniques from a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the person in front of me.
